Long Feng is one of the newer Esplanade dance camps and one of the most culturally distinct. Founded by a crew of Asian-diaspora artists, DJs and party throwers, the camp builds a dragon-themed stage and programs a week of music that draws on the global Asian-electronic scene — Shanghai, Tokyo and LA crews are heavily represented in the booking, and the visual identity is meaningfully different from anything else on the Esplanade.
Sonically the camp lives in the harder-grooving end of tech house and bass, with regular forays into peak-time techno after midnight.
